Warmth Beyond the Valleys: Shamim Anwar’s Winter Relief Mission in Gorkha

Shamim Anwar, in partnership with Nepa Trust, traveled from the lowlands to the mountains to ensure that the cold doesn't stand in the way of an education.

We are proud to share that our team successfully distributed high-quality winter clothing—including warm jackets, sweaters, and caps—to school children in rural Gorkha. Many of these students walk long distances in freezing temperatures to reach their classrooms. By providing these essentials, we aren't just giving clothes; we are giving these children the comfort to stay in school and the warmth of knowing their community cares.
